Social Contribution Activities

The GLTECHNO Group not only contributes to society through its core business, but also engages in a variety of activities with the desire to "give back to the local community in gratitude" and "make the local area more vibrant." We will continue to strive for further development and growth together with society, and work to build better trust relationships.

Corporate Version of Hometown Tax Donation (Tax System for Regional Revitalization Support)​

GL Sciences Inc. has been making hometown tax donations to Fukushima City every year since 2018 as a company with deep roots in Fukushima Prefecture. To date, we have contributed to projects such as “projects to encourage young people to settle in the area," “projects to promote the appeal of local businesses by university students," and "pick-up and drop-off stations for kindergartens." In fiscal year 2023, we will start making hometown tax donations to Date City, and will contribute to the “promotion project of multicultural coexistence center" and “childcare-related project."​

Techno Quartz Inc. is a company rooted in Yamagata Prefecture and has been making hometown tax donations to Yamagata Prefecture every year since 2020. To date, we have contributed to projects such as “support for the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra," “youth settlement promotion project," “culture-creative city promotion project," and "UIJ-turn employment support project."​ In fiscal year 2023, we will be contributing to “the Yamagata Autumn Art Festival”.

Sports Support

As part of its community contribution activities, Techno Quartz supports a professional soccer team in Yamagata Prefecture, Montedio Yamagata. Additionally, as a CSR partner of regular members, we have entrusted the management of tickets to the club, which are then used to invite people with disabilities and elementary, junior high, and high school students in the prefecture.

Support for children with disabilities and hearing impairments

In fiscal year 2021, Techno Quartz donated teaching materials to Yamagata Prefectural Yamagata School for Hearing Impaired Children and Yamagata Prefectural Kaminoyama High School for Disabled Children.

Support for a traditional event in Yamagata City, Imonikai

In 2018, Techno Quartz donated the production costs of a huge multiton pot nicknamed "Third Generation Nabetaro" to be used at a fall traditional event in Yamagata City, the "Japan's No. 1 Imonikai Festival."
